A plain-language summary of what Ketoshrink stores, where it lives, and who can see it. Last updated 30 October 2026.
Your diary starts on your device
Everything you record — weights, strip readings, meals, mood, triggers, reflections and notes — is saved in your own browser first, so the diary keeps working offline. You can export a copy of all of it at any time from Settings.
What Ketoshrink stores online
- Your account details (name and email), so you can log in.
- A durable copy of your diary, tied to your account: one record per day plus your profile (name, height, start and goal weight, reminder settings).
Who can see your information
Only you can open your diary, unless you choose to share it with a clinician from Settings. That clinician can read — never edit — the records you are sharing, and you can stop sharing at any time, which ends their access immediately. Your records are not shared with other users, advertisers or third parties, and they are not used to build a profile of you. Service administrators may access records only where required to operate or support the service.
Your choices
- Export your full diary as a JSON file from Settings.
- Clear any individual day from the daily record screen.
- Ask for your account and synced records to be deleted using the account options provided with your login.
Not medical data
Ketoshrink is a self-tracking tool. The information you enter is your own observation and is not a clinical record. See our Terms for what the app does and does not do.
